Folláin Chilli con Carne

Adding Folláin Fire Roasted Pepper Relish means that this dish is packed full of flavour and it will definitely be a winner in your household

Ingredients

Folláin StrawberFolláin Chilli con Carne
  • 1 lb (450g) minced beef
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 6 oz (175g) onions – chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic – crushed
  • 1 tsp freshly ground cumin
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 2 tsp ground oregano
  • 8 heaped tsp Folláin Fire Roasted Pepper Relish
  • 1 x 400g tin chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 x 400g tin red kidney beans
  • Dash of soy sauce
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper

Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the chopped onion and garlic and cook over a medium heat until soft and slightly golden. Increase the heat, add the mince and fry until brown. Add the cumin, oregano, chilli, tinned tomatoes, Folláin Fire Roasted Pepper Relish and red kidney beans. Then shake in the soy sauce and season well with the salt and pepper. Cover and cook for 20 minutes then taste and check the seasoning. Serve with rice or potatoes.
