Folláin Wholegrain Mustard Pork Burgers with Follain Exotic Fruit Relish

This recipe is as tasty as it is easy, and the whole family will love them.

Ingredients

Folláin Wholegrain Mustard Pork Burgers with Follain Exotic Fruit Relish
  • 200g minced pork
  • 1 tbsp Folláin Wholegrain Mustard with Beamish
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sage, chopped
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • Grated zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 shallots, finely chopped

To Serve

  • Sliced red onion
  • Salad leaves
  • Folláin Exotic Fruit Relish
  • Parmesan shavings (optional)
  • Grilled slices of sourdough bread (or any bread)

In a mixing bowl mix together the pork, mustard, honey, sage, parsley, egg yolk, breadcrumbs, lemon zest and shallots. Shape the pork mixture into 4 even-sized burgers.
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan. Add in the burgers and fry until golden brown on both sides and cooked through. Serve the freshly fried burgers between freshly griddled sourdough bread. Top
the burgers with red onion, parmesan, salad leaves and Folláin Exotic Fruit Relish.
