Folláin Mince Pies
Try this interesting take on Mince Pies using Folláin’s delicious Mincemeat.

1 Jar Folláin’s Mulled Wine and Winter Berry Jam1 Roll Chilled Pastry1 Beaten egg or milk

- Roll out a rectangle, fold in half lengthways and cut 2 smaller rectangles, then cut both smaller rectangles into eight equal sections.
- You now have 16 rectangles in total.
- Brush edges of rectangles with a little of the beaten egg or milk.
- Put a dessertspoon of Follain mincemeat in the centre of each piece of pastry.
- Fold over dough and press the three edges tightly together to make parcels.
- Prick top of parcels with a fork and brush with beaten egg or milk.
- Place the parcels on a greased baking tray.
- Bake in a hot oven 210 oC for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- To Serve: Serve hot with cream, ice cream, crème fraiche, or custard.
