Camembert Fondue with Relish

This is a great starter for a small get together and also a wonderfully romantic supper for two! Enjoy with warm crusty bread.

Caramelised Onion with Black Garlic Relish

  • 1 Camembert in a box
  • To taste Folláin Irish Tomato, Chargrilled Red Pepper Relish or Caramelised Red Onion Relish with black garlic.
  • 1 Baguette or ciabatta loaf
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • Optional A few thyme leaves


  1. Remove all packaging from camembert.
  2. Slice rind off the top of the cheese and place back into the box.
  3. Drizzle with the olive oil, and sprinkle on the thyme leaves if using.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven 220ºC for 10-15 minutes until the cheese has melted and is bubbling.
  5. Serve in the box alongside a bowl of Folláin Exotic fruit, Tomato, Fire Roasted Pepper or Red Onion Relish.
  6. Tear the warm crusty bread into pieces and dip into the camembert fondue, and then into the relish.
  7. Alternatively, stir 2 tsp of any Folláin Relish into the melted cheese.
