Ingredients

  • 6 small crisp apples (Bramley or Granny Smith work well)
  • 1 jar Folláin Salted Caramel Sauce or Irish Cream Liqueur Caramel Sauce
  • Lollipop or craft sticks
  • Selection of toppings: chopped nuts, toasted coconut, dried fruit, chocolate drops, popping candy, jellies, fruit leather strips

Method

  1. Line a tray with parchment paper and insert a stick into each apple.
  2. Warm your Folláin Caramel Sauce gently in a saucepan or microwave until pourable.
  3. Dip each apple into the caramel, turning to coat evenly.
  4. While still warm, roll the apples in your chosen toppings — or set up bowls and let guests pick and mix their own.
  5. Place on the lined tray to set. (Tip: pop into the fridge for 10–15 minutes for a firm finish.)
