Tomato and Chilli Jam

  • 3 tablespoons Folláin's Tomato and Chilli Relish
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for a gluten-free option)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce or more, to taste (optional for extra heat)
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 1 scallion spring onion, finely chopped
  • A pinch of ground black pepper


  1. In a medium bowl, combine the Ingredients and whisk together our Tomato and Chilli Relish, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey or brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, fish sauce (if using), Sriracha (if using), lime juice, chopped green onion, and black pepper.
  2. Adjust the Flavors: Taste the marinade and adjust the seasoning if needed. If you prefer more sweetness, add a bit more honey.
  3. For more acidity, a splash more rice vinegar can be added.
