  • 10 Vol-au-vent cases
  • 1 Beaten egg
  • 1 tbsp Caster sugar
  • Some Folláin Strawberry Cream (see Strawberry cream recipe)
  • 10 Fresh Strawberries


  1. Preheat the oven to 200ºC/400ºF/gas mark 6.
  2. Make up the vol au vents, brush with beaten egg to glaze, sprinkle with caster sugar and cook for 10 minutes until golden.
  3. Leave to cool.
  4. Fill the vol-au-vents with the Folláin Strawberry Cream and top with a fresh strawberry.
  5. Serve immediately.
