Blue Cheese & Fig Puff Pastry Rolls
A little festive magic in under 20 minutes. These Blue Cheese & Fig Puff Pastry rolls are the ultimate Christmas nibble — buttery pastry, Irish blue cheese, and a generous spoonful of our Folláin Fig Preserve. Our Blue Cheese & Fig Puff Pastry rolls are generous, comforting, and easy enough to pull together between work and wrapping.

Ingredients
- 1 sheet Ready-rolled puff pastry
- 3–4 tbsp Folláin Fig Preserve
- 80–100g Blue Cheese
- 1 beaten egg (for glazing)
- Optional: cracked black pepper, thyme leaves, chopped walnuts
Method
- Preheat oven to 200°C (fan 180°C). Line a baking tray with parchment.
- Unroll puff pastry and cut into long rectangles (roughly 6–7 cm wide).
- Spread a thin layer of Folláin Fig Preserve down the centre of each rectangle.
- Crumble blue cheese generously along the same line.
- Fold pastry over the filling and seal the edges firmly with a fork.
- Brush with egg wash; sprinkle with thyme or pepper if you like.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Slice into “grown-up fig rolls” and serve warm.
