Ingredients

  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 60ml hot water (not boiling – about 80°C)
  • 2 tbsp of Folláin NBF Blueberry & Raspberry Jam
  • 150ml milk of choice (dairy, oat, almond, etc.)
  • Handful Ice
  • Optional: for garnish lemon juice (a squeeze, to brighten the berries), mint

Method

  1. Make the berry base: In the bottom of the jar mix the blueberry and raspberry jam with a tiny splash of hot water or lemon juice to loosen. Stir well.
  2. Add ice and milk: Fill the glass with ice and pour milk over the berry mixture. Let the layers show!
  3. Prepare the matcha: In a small bowl, whisk matcha powder with hot water until smooth and frothy (use a bamboo whisk or milk frother).
  4. Layer it up: Slowly pour the matcha over the milk and berry mix to create a layered effect.
  5. Serve: Garnish with fresh mint, a few whole berries, or a swirl of jam on top.
